Democratic National Convention "Watch Party" for Tulsi Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard’s supporters will gather in Kailua on Tuesday, Sept. 4, for a “watch party.” Between 7 and 8pm Eastern time (1-2 pm Hawaii) Gabbard will join House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and seven other women candidates, including six members of Congress, on stage at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“It’s an incredible honor to speak at the convention and I’m especially pleased to talk about the sacrifices made by our troops, with a special focus on women in uniform,” Gabbard, a Captain in the Army National Guard, said upon receiving the invitation to speak at the convention.
Others joining her and former speaker Pelosi in the segment titled “The Women of the House” are Congresswomen Rosa DeLauro, Carolyn Maloney, Allyson Schwartz, Donna Edwards, Nydia Velazquez, and Gwen Moore. Gabbard and Congressional candidate Joyce Beatty round out the group.
