Over 70 volunteers came out this afternoon to stand along Nimitz Highway and Waiakamilo Road, hold signs, and wave to all the passers by. "TeamTulsi" sign-wavers can be seen every Friday afternoon in various locations across the island of O`ahu, as well as the neighbor islands. However, tonight was different. After their sign-waving, volunteers planned to watch Tulsi speak at the televised Hawaii News Now CD2 debate. The picture above hardly does justice to the amount of enthusiasm, energy, and commitment that these volunteers exuded.
Afterwards, the group split up into three groups (so as not to overburden any one establishment with Tulsi supporters) and dined as they watched the debates together in true team fashion! Tulsi presented clear, strong, and sincere answers during the 90 minute long question and answer period and made us all proud to be part of "TeamTulsi."
Halfway into the debate, this simple question was posted on Tulsi's facebook page by one of her volunteer staff:
"Is everyone watching?!" Within minutes, the "Likes" and comments exploded with a resounding "Yes!"
