Honolulu City Council member Tulsi Gabbard’s campaign for Congress says Democratic rival Mufi Hannemann’s fourth quarter fundraising numbers show “clear” momentum in Gabbard’s favor.
Hannemann raised about $231,000 last quarter, according to his campaign, which is less than he raised in the first month of campaigning. At the same time, Gabbard broke a personal fundraising record, taking in $203,500 last quarter, according to her campaign.
“While it’s clear Tulsi has the momentum here, what’s even more important is her message and her proven willingness to make personal sacrifice in the service of Hawaii and our Country,” Gabbard Finance Director Erika Tsuji told DC808.
