Here’s what I like about Tulsi:

She has a firm grip like she really wants to shake your hand and be your friend.

She has been to the middle east as a Warfighter and knows what our men and women are going through on foreign land just to keep America free.

She is an outstanding public speaker and comes across with true meaning.

She doesn’t beat around the bush.

She has a listening ear and her eyes are tied to her ears.  She doesn’t look around while she speaks with you, but listens very intently as to what you are saying.

She loves meeting new people in all walks of life.

She has a winning smile that draws your attention as to what she is saying.

Since meeting Tulsi, I believe her to be honest, honorable and determined to serve Hawaii. She has an energetic drive, the connections, a global understanding of Hawaii's current and future issues, and the utmost aloha that will improve Hawaii for all future generations to come.

I was raised in a military family and have a son currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. I love that Tulsi has served our country being a two time deployed veteran.

I believe in and support Tulsi Gabbard because she is 100% service-oriented and she is over the top dedicated and committed to achieving and improving better outcomes for the people of Hawaii.

Lets take away the power from the old school cronnies, Tulsi joined the military soon after 911 and spear headed straight to the middle east, leaving behind a cushy job in the State House to fight enemy lines in Iraq... And it wasn't a Desk Job, she was down in the trenches... This chick ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the priviledge of explaining what I know about our friend, Tulsi. I have seen her in action, and know for a fact what she will do when put to the test. I worked with her on a 24/7 basis as part of the deployment of Hawaii's own National Guard unit, the 29th, C.Co.. We spent a year in that smokey, bombed out base called Anaconda in Iraq and another year training up and demobilizing back home. She does what she says she's going to do. Doesn't talk too much but means what she says and is a solid friend. We talked about what was going on around us but she never talked bad about anyone. There was a lot of stress during that deployment in particular but she was always cool and informed.

She's the kind of person that leads by example because it's the right thing to do. There is no one that I can bring to mind that would be better to represent real people and issues that we all care about than Tulsi. Take a look in the newspaper and you can see that she is taking action and defending the people by bringing up important points and DOING SOMETHING. Even her platform for running in Congress is about what is best for us as a nation in the long-run. Those kind of decisions and solid commitment to duty is what it's going to take for all of us to retain our integrity in this volatile new world. Anyone with any conscious thought would vote for her if they knew her like I know her.

Tulsi is such an inspiring woman. Being that she has already accomplished so much at a young age shows me that she has the energy and drive to really make changes and get things done, being a real voice for the people while in Congress. Tulsi represents to me true hope in politics.

I moved to Hawaii from Washington DC. I used to have opportunities to work with other political candidates in DC and Hawaii. I met Tulsi a couple years ago and I was very impressed with her vision and goals. I have seen her determination to make it happen each day. Her contribution to this community has proved me that she is delivering what she said. This is important character to be a leader. I have confidence in her and a strong belief that Tulsi will go further on this path and she will be there for us.

The first time I personally met Tulsi was at the Hawaii State Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation Dinner at Washington Place.  She was smartly attired in her Hawaii National Guard uniform and stood out from the rest.  We spoke about the mission to construct a monument for local law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.  I was impressed with her compassion for our fallen heroes and her personal commmitment to the effort.  I'm voting for Tulsi because I believe Washington needs a congresswoman with her compassion, energy, drive, and commitment.

Tulsi has credibility and charisma, so she gives a great first impression, but it doesn't stop there... she's smart, respectful, knows the issues, and she's not afraid to fight for what's right. Tulsi is a breath of fresh air with no baggage - I think she's just what the people of Maui are looking for in a candidate.

Tulsi has selflessly considered the people of Hawaii and our country. In her honorable service to our people serving in a time of war and in her efforts within our communities, she has been a credit to herself and her family. Tulsi stepped up and served with dedication in Iraq, and when our land and ocean became polluted with medical waste, she was there without fanfare and without prompting, simply doing what is right because it is right. We support Tulsi and look forward to having her as our advocate.
