Tulsi Gabbard values education and will make sure that 4-year college degrees for teachers will continue to be offered in the neighbor islands thereby making educational opportunities more accessible to Maui residents.
I support Tulsi Gabbard because she believes that federal laws affecting education should be realistic and achievable. Tulsi will continue to advocate for the people of Hawaii to ensure that federal funding sources for education will continue.
I’m supporting Tulsi Gabbard because I believe that she will bring fresh ideas to Congress. Her military experience gives her a can do attitude that enables her to achieve what’s best for Hawaii.
I had the honor and pleasure to serve along side Tulsi Gabbard during the initial combat deployment of the 29th Brigade Combat Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. In her capacity within the Brigade Surgeons Section, I found Ms. Gabbard to be honest, professional, and selfless. It is with great pride and reverence that I give my endorsement and vote to Tulsi Gabbard. My greatest hope is that others in political positions may be as dedicated to the service of others, and half as worthy of loyalty as Tulsi Gabbard.
When I first met Tulsi, I was impressed by her beauty, stature and intelligence. She embodies all that have been written by others about why they support her. I was fortunate to host a Talk Story for her and she was everything written about her. Poised, to the point, and positive. I have been impressed by all she has accomplished in her young years and is an example of the Can Do attitude that will set a beacon for our young adults. She will fight for Hawaii in Congress like she has in the field and in the legislature and council. Tulsi is a leader in all sense.
She is a brilliant force of nature, someone who is kind, fearless, compassionate and wise beyond her years. She will always have my loyal support and will continue to for the rest of this lifetime.
In twenty-five years of covering local politics I've seen a lot of politicians put on a great song and dance. But, this time around, I see a woman, who transcends the flutter and gets down to business. I see an uphill battle for Tulsi, but if I didn't think she was up to it, I wouldn't support her. Tulsi has the fire. And, when it's all said and done, that's what counts.
We need to support Tulsi Gabbard in her bid for a congressional seat in Washington. She has the enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to the people of Hawaii. I am confident she will do only those things which will make us proud to have her representing us.
I've known Tulsi for several years and have witnessed first-hand her exceptional leadership both as an officer in the National Guard and also as an elected official. In these challenging times, we need a strong leader like Tulsi who has proven that she is willing to set aside her own interests and serve our country and our people with bravery, humility, and respect.
I had the honor of serving in the light of Tulsi’s leadership, and our platoon, our soldiers, and we as individuals prospered for it. In my career I have not seen a leader more dedicated, more hard-working, and most importantly so steadfast in her values than Tulsi. When leaders said it would be difficult, she gave possibilities. When soldiers were in doubt, she gave answers. And now, when we need help, I know she will give results. In a time of war, I placed my complete trust in Tulsi, and I was never disappointed. So when she takes her seat in Congress, I know that we will not be disappointed.
