Yesterday, I had the honor of attending the inauguration of President Obama’s second term in office.
He made a strong call for all of us to work together, to care for our kupuna, to provide a level playing field for our children, and to keep our commitment to fairness and equality for all people.
Looking out on the National Mall yesterday, as over a million people gathered to witness the President's inauguration, I had “chicken skin” (aka goose bumps for you mainland folks) as I felt the great significance of what we can accomplish as a people, united.
